What is a Sync?
A sync happens every time you open FarmOps. It is how we get data on your herd to your app. This is key to ensuring you have the most up-to-date information for your herd on FarmOps.
What is a Sync Error?
A sync error happens from time-to-time when FarmOps has a problem getting information to your app. This can happen for lots of reasons, but normally it means your phone simply lost internet connection for a few seconds.
What should I do if I get a Sync Error?
Most people will have 2 options, either Go To Task List, or Retry.
Go To Task List option brings you straight to your Task List. If you have recently sync'd your data to FarmOps, or you are having lots of issues sync'ing, you can choose this option. You may not have this option available if you are opening FarmOps for the first time.
Retry attempts to complete the sync process again. If it has been a while since you opened FarmOps, and you have good internet connection, this is the option you should choose.
VIEW SYNC ERROR option gives us more detail on the problem that you had. This helps us if you are having repeated problems sync'ing.
